George is a typically lively young man and adores playing with feathers, cat toys, and sitting in or on cardboard boxes. He is very well behaved and uses the scratching post and litter tray. He obviously paid attention at the good cat school. George is available for adoption on his own or with his brother ZIGGY. They play fight together and when this is all done, they like to snuggle up together on the sofa. They are both good with kids, playful and affectionate and would suit any type of household. They are both doing really well in foster but think they are ready to find their forever homes and be able to go outdoors.

Name: Kohl

Age: 16 weeks old

Breed: Cocker Spaniel

Can I live with Children: Over fives

Can I live with cats: Not tested

Can I live with other dogs: Yes please

Fostered In: South Wales

Kohl is a very friendly and lively 4-month old Cocker Spaniel puppy, who is being fostered in South Wales. He loves to play with toys and other dogs. He also likes lots of cuddles especially on your lap. He starting to learn basic commands such as sit and down. He should easily progress with this as loves a treat. He loves to be made a fuss of and always greets you with lots excitement.               Had Cherry Eye but has been operated on and all clear from vet.

People – He loves meeting people especially if they make a big fuss of him. He’s happy to be touched by strangers. Kohl likes a bath and being brushed. He likes to play with children but could be a bit boisterous for really young children.

Dogs – Kohl likes to play with the other dogs in the house. He greets other dogs in a friendly nature. He has always lived with another dog so maybe he would be better suited to a home who had another dog.

Cats – Not cat tested

In the home – He is very lively in the home and bounces around but he is still very young. He sleeps in the bedroom either in his bed or on the floor. He goes in a crate but doesn’t like the door shut. He will eat his food in seconds and other food if allowed. He can be aggressive with other dogs with his food but he eats so quickly it’s not a problem. He’s only been left for an hour or two and cries in the beginning but is fine when his humans return. He likes to pinch socks and slippers.

Out and about – He’s only just started lead walking and sometimes lies down but he’s only young. He travels fine in the car. He is no problem at the vets.

Type of home – He needs an active home with someone who is around during most of the day especially as he’s a puppy. He would suit a family who had another dog he could play with and learn from. He will need to be walked every day. His house training will have to be continued.

Kohl is chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. He is too young to be neutered so will be rehomed with a neutering contract. It will be a condition of adoption that his new owners get this done as soon as he is old enough. Follow up checks will be done. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in South Wales.

Name: Caroline

Age: 5 years old

Can I live with other dogs: Yes, a must

Fostered In: West Midlands

Caroline is a 5-year old West Highland Terrier who is being fostered in the West Midlands. She is very loving and licky, is housetrained 95% of the time but doesn’t like going in the garden if it’s raining! Caroline would benefit from building up her fitness levels and losing a little bit of weight.

People – Caroline loves everyone including the vet and groomer. She’s very happy to be brushed at home.

Dogs – She doesn’t take a lot of notice of other dogs on walks, loves playing with Betty at home (Shih Tzu).

Cats – Not tested

In the home – Caroline is mainly housetrained and sleeps on the bed with me, Betty and Doris. She is dry all night. She doesn’t use a crate and is not destructive the only thing she does tend to chew are her toys which she loves. She has been left with the other dogs for up to 3 hours without problems.

Breed: Shih Tzu

Can I live with Children: Older

Can I live with cats: Not tested

Can I live with other dogs: Yes

Fostered In: West Midlands

Betty is a 5-year old Shih Tzu being fostered in the West Midlands. Betty is a very friendly lap dog. She likes nothing more than being with you and giving licks. She loves throwing her toys around.

People – Betty is happy to meet anyone and everyone. She enjoys being groomed and is a cuddly lap dog.

Dogs – Betty does get on with all dogs she has met, but does bark and lunge if the other dog is on the other side of the street, this is only because she wants to meet them. She does like to sit on the window ledge and bark at dogs going past.

Cats – Not cat tested

In the home – Betty is fully housetrained and sleeps on foster mum’s bed. She is non-destructive and does like to play with toys. Betty has been left for up to 3 hours without problems, but she will bark initially. She is also not too keen on having doors shut in the house so she can follow her humans.

Out and about – Betty is not used to much exercise but does enjoy being out. Her only issue is barking and lunging at other digs if she can’t meet them. She travels well in the car.

Type of home – She is very much a lap dog and isn’t used to a lot of exercise. She would be fine with older children although a quiet home would be best where someone is around for most of the day.

Name: Pepsi

Age: 5 years old approx

Breed: Yorkshire Terrier x Chihuahua

Can I live with Children: Probably not

Can I live with cats: Yes

Can I live with other dogs: Yes

Fostered In: South Wales

Pepsi is around 5 years old and is a Yorkshire Terrier cross Chihuahua girl who is being fostered in South Wales. Although she is a cross she is typical Chi behaviour wise. She takes a little while to trust people but once she does just loves being close to her favourite people, she can be a little snappy if she doesn’t want to be touched.

People – She is comfortable with both men and women but it will take a while for her to get used to you. She certainly likes to be close to you even is she’s not touching you. She hasn’t had much experience of children and due to her being a little unpredictable we think that a home without children would be more sensible.

Dogs – She is fostered as an only dog but is indifferent to other dogs. She said hello wagged her tail but generally ignored them and wanted no interaction. She is fine with other dogs on walks, but we believe that she would thrive in a multi chi house

Cats – She is being fostered with four cats. They tolerate each other and give a wide berth when necessary. She is however friends with the Siamese, and they go nose to nose with each other

In the home – She has bonded well with her foster Mum and she will happily be picked up onto the sofa to sit on their laps. She won’t necessarily stay there and cuddle all night as she likes to have a bit of her own space too as long as she’s close to you. She has been left for about 2 hours without issue. When she was first fostered she slept in a crate but now prefers to sleep on a cushion under the radiator. She still has the crate as a sanctuary from the cats but she doesn’t really use it. She has shown no signs whatsoever of destructive behaviour since being in foster.   She is so tiny she wouldn’t be able to jump a fence but she might be able to get underneath a fence or gate however she shows no inclination to escape anywhere

Out and about – She walks well on a lead for short periods, but has obviously been carried a lot as she will stop when she has had enough. She has been good at the vets but did snap when he was trying to touch her tummy. She travels in a small soft crate and is calm and relaxed.

Type of home – Although she’s not on your lap all the time she does like her humans to be close to her so someone who is home at least the majority of the day. She is an extremely fussy eater and come in with a skin irritation that has got better on a wheat free diet, although she would prefer a little chicken. We have tried her on a raw diet, but she is fussy and will eat it one day and not the other .She is sweet delicate little soul and should be treated as such a home with Chi experience or in a multi Chi home would ideal. She will make a lovely companion for someone who is not looking for a dog to take on long walks. She really is darling who has already captured the heart of her foster mum.

Pepsi is chipped and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. She is neutered and fully vaccinated. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in South Wales.

Name: Lily

Age: 2 years old

Breed: Saluki cross

Can I live with Children: Yes

Can I live with cats: No

Can I live with other dogs: Yes

Fostered In: RCT, South Wales

Lily is a 2-year old Saluki cross who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. She is an adorable girl who has been a dream to foster. Having come to us with a badly broken leg and lots of cuts and bruises she has been the perfect patient which has been rewarded with the vets being able to save her leg. She has a sweet nature who loves everyone and would make the perfect companion for the right home. No ongoing health issues but care needs to be taken with the leg not to overdo it. She is currently walking 40 minutes but no off lead running as yet.

People – Lily loves everyone she meets and is happy to be fussed. She has a quiet nature and will happily pass the hours asleep on the sofa or cuddling next to you. She is quite a tall girl so no small toddlers for her to knock over but sensible children would be fine

Dogs –  Lily is great with other dogs and will play happily with them. She’s met loads of dogs of various breeds and sizes while at walking and loves everyone but she would be equally as happy as an only dog if owners were around most of the day.

Cats – Not cat tested but will chase small furries especially squirrels

In the home – Lily is fully house trained and sleeps quietly in a dog bed in the kitchen overnight. She is an escape artist so a super secure garden with walls over 6 ft is a must. She can be left for short periods but may cry initially, she also jumps on work tops and tables when left so anything dangerous needs to be put away in cupboards. She loves her food and is not food or toy aggressive

Out and about – Lily walks well in a lead but prefers quieter walks away from traffic as she is understandably wary having been hit by a car. Recall is non-existent and she will need to be kept on a lead or long line at all times. She travels well in a crate in the car and is a regular at the vets.

Type of home – Security is a must in Lily’s forever home to make sure she can’t escape. Wall height of above 6 ft and exterior doors locked as she can open them. She is a super friendly and affectionate girl so would fit into any home with ease. She enjoys quiet outdoor time but also enjoys spending most of her day asleep on the sofa.

Lily is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in RCT, South Wales.

Remus is a 6-month old Border Terrier cross Pug who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. He loves being around the other dogs in his foster home and is happiest when he’s busy.

People – Remus is confident around people young and old. He is happy to be fussed and loves a cuddle on the sofa with his favourite humans.

Dogs –  We think Remus would prefer a home where he has other dogs for company as he thrives around them. He also loves to play.

Cats – He hasn’t been cat tested but is young enough to learn.

In the home – Remus is almost there with his housetraining but adopters should expect a few accidents when he moves to his new home as he is only a puppy. He loves to play and enjoys running round the garden with the other dogs in the home. He hasn’t been left for any length of time and would prefer that his people are around for the majority of the day to train and socialise him. Now he is fully vaccinated he just loves his walks and being as active as he can.

Out and about – He is fine in the car and at the vets. Walks are a work in progress as he gets used to being on the lead.

Can I live with Children: Yes

Can I live with cats: Yes

Fostered In: South Wales

Romulus is a 6-month old Pug cross Border terrier puppy who is being fostered in South Wales. He is looking for an active home where he gets a lot of input with training and sociation. He is still very unsure of humans who will need patient people who will work with him.

People – As an older puppy who was unsold from the breeder, Romulus is very unsure of humans. He will need further gentle training and socialisation to be happier around people but we have faith that he is young enough to pick this up when given kindness and love. He is fantastic with sensible children.

Dogs – Romulus would be happiest in a home with another dog for company. He gains in confidence while around them and although, hasn’t met any dogs out and about yet, loves the dogs in his foster home.

Cats – Young enough to learn

In the home – Romulus has led a sheltered life so far and hasn’t been exposed to many of the sights, sounds and experiences that we take for granted. His housetraining is a work in progress and he is unsure of nearly everything and everyone around him. His safe place is currently the sofa but he as started to wag his tail when watching the other dogs so he’ll get there.

Out and about – He will need continued gentle guidance on walks, car travel and trips to the vet.

Type of home – A patient home where his people are around for most of the day would be great for Romulus. He deserves to have the company he craves and to be part of a family who are prepared to work with him so he can reach his full potential. He will be an active lad as he gains in confidence so adopters will have to ensure he is taken on regular jaunts. He would like to live with other dogs for company and can live with sensible children who are understanding of his needs.

Romulus is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in South Wales.

In the home – Leia is fully house trained in her foster home. She currently sleeps in a crate with the doors open. She loves toys needs plenty of chew toys as she is teething at moment. Name: Heidi

Age: 2 and a half years old

Breed: Cavalier King Charles

Can I live with Children: Older sensible children

Can I live with cats: Yes

Can I live with other dogs: A must

Fostered In: South Wales

Heidi is a 2 and a half year old Cavalier King Charles who is being fostered in South Wales. She is a gorgeous and affectionate ex-breeding girl who has grown in confidence since being in her foster home. Heidi has been diagnosed with an open irregular heartbeat. She had an echo scan on her heart before she was spayed and was perfectly fine and stable under anaesthetic. The vets can not 100% guarantee that this won’t cause any problems in the future and she should be monitored as she could need medication.

People – Heidi can be an inquisitive little girl she’s wary of humans when she first meets them but does love a fuss, so it doesn’t take long for her to warm to you if you give her the fuss she craves. She is fine with children but older gentler children may be better as she doesn’t like to be chased and can be startled with loud noises.

Dogs – Heidi needs to live with another dog.

Cats – Heidi has lived in the foster home with both a rabbit and a cat and is not bothered by either.

In the home – Heidi’s house training is coming on well. She’s learning to go outside with the other dogs and will copy their every move. She only has an accident now and again. Heidi is happy in the house and seems to be becoming a very confident girl now. she will bark at passers-by and any noises can set her off she’s definitely found her voice, but take her outside and she’s a totally different dog.

Out and about – She’s unsure of the outside world and it is still work in progress. Heidi is fine in the car she will be wary to start and will shake quite badly, she will then settle down and sleep. Going to the vets can be quite scary for her but she is getting better.

Type of home – Heidi would suit best in a home that can give her the attention and love she craves. someone that wouldn’t mind her sleeping on their bed as she loves to be close to her humans at bedtime. She will beat her foster mum to her bed every night and be ready and waiting.  Heidi needs at least one other dog in the house as she relies on the resident dogs to teach her how do doggie things and she also loves to snuggle up with them during the day. She has been left with her resident dogs during the day for a few hours and have had no problems. Heidi likes to steal washing and clothing items that are left on the floor and she will be partial to have a little chew of these items so doggie toys and chewy bones are a must. She loves anything food orientated as she’s a big foodie

Heidi is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in South Wales

Name: Trina

Age: 4 years old

Breed: Cavalier King Charles

Can I live with Children: Over 8s

Can I live with cats: Not tested

Can I live with other dogs: Yes a must

Fostered In: Newport, South Wales

Trina is a 4-year old Cavalier who is being fostered in Newport, South Wales. She is a beautiful girl who is desperate to be loved. She is slowly becoming more of a dog now and has started to venture upstairs and jump onto the settee. Trina suffers with suspected IBS and is currently on a bland diet of prescribed food also has mucky ears which will need to be cleaned regularly

People – Trina is brilliant with all children and adults in the home but is petrified of other humans that come into the house. She will shake, hide and wet herself but if left alone will gradually come up to sniff then in her own time. Any children in her new home should be dog savvy and over 8 years.

Dogs – Trina loves the dogs in her foster home and follows then around constantly. She cwtches up to them at every opportunity and follows them out the garden for toileting. Trina has no spacial awareness when it comes to dogs she likes to try and climb on top of them and find the smallest space to be right by them. Trina would definitely need another laid back dog who could continue to teach her to trust humans and be a dog but who is also laid back enough to let her be herself with her insecurities.

Cats – Not cat tested but she isn’t phased by the rabbit on her foster home.

In the home – It has taken Trina 4 weeks to venture upstairs (3 story house) to be with us in the living room and any sudden noise she will run back downstairs to the safety of the kitchen. Trina sleeps in the kitchen overnight. Trina isn’t destructive at all but she is a hoarder she likes to collect everything in sight whether that be clothes shoes teddies or a hairbrush which she gathers all in her dog bed. Trina isn’t crated. Trina needs some coaxing to eat her meals she is currently on prescribed vet biscuits which are soaked in water due to 3 weeks of upset tummy. Trina doesn’t scrounge for food. Trina doesn’t play with toys but will collect them into a pile. Trina is fine being left on her own and had been left for a few hours with no problems

Out and about – Trina doesn’t go out for walks yet she is really scared of everyday noise and wets herself and trembles when she has a lead or harness on and tries to back out of it and every opportunity. It is very slowly a work in progress.

Type of home – Trina will need a home with another laid back dog, ideally a cavalier, as she seems to love her own breed. She will need a home where the humans are very patient and understand that it could possibly take her weeks to get her confidence but when she learns to trust them they will see a beautiful side to her. Trina can be left for a few hours as long as she has company of another dog, I would recommend children over the age of 8 only as she is such a scared girl and likes minimal noise. In time Trina would also benefit from a slightly active home as she has a lot of energy but also loves to cuddle up as well at every opportunity

Trina is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Newport, South Wales

Name: Suzy

Age: 3 years old

Breed: Pug

Can I live with Children: Yes

Can I live with cats: Yes

Can I live with other dogs: Yes

Fostered In: South Wales

Suzy is a 3-year old Pug who is being fostered in Newport, South Wales. She is an affectionate girl with a delightful personality, and she loves cuddles.

People – Suzy is fine being touched by people. She enjoys the company of the visiting grandchildren in her foster home who are aged 7 and 11 years. Out on walks she loves to meet other people and get fuss from strangers.

Dogs – Suzy is fine with the other pug in her foster home but can get a bit bossy and forgets to share toys with him. She is happy to meet other dogs when out walking and would be happiest in a home where there is another dog for company.

Cats – She has been fine around the cat she has met

In the home – Suzy is house trained in her foster home and sleeps in her basket during the day. She happily plays with toys and can be left for short periods. At night, Suzy feels safest sleeping on her humans’ bed, and she will voice her displeasure if made to sleep downstairs on her own.

Out and about – Suzy loves walks and going out in the car. She is fine at the vets and enjoys regular walks.

Type of home – Suzy does suffer from a little bit of separation anxiety and would like the company of another dog if she will be left for short periods on a regular basis. If her humans are home for most of the day she could be happy as an only dog.   Suzy is approx. 3 years old, so needs an active home where she gets regular exercise.

Suzy is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in South Wales.

Age: 3-4 years old

Breed: Cavalier King Charles

Can I live with Children: Over 10s

Can I live with cats: Yes

Can I live with other dogs: Yes, a must

Fostered In: Neath, South Wales

Minxi is a 3-4 year old Cavalier who is being fostered in Neath, South Wales. She is a very sweet little girl  she likes to pinch your slipper and she loves to cuddle up with the other dogs in her foster home.

People – Minxi is still very timid around strangers but with encouragement she will get better. Any children in the home should be over 10.

Dogs –   Minxi loves the company of other does and although struggles currently with lead walking, enjoys spending time with the dogs in her foster home.

Cats – Minxi lives with a cat in her foster home

In the home – Minxi is learning all about housetraining now and her adopters will have to be patient with her until she gets the hang of it. She enjoys cuddling up with the other dogs on the sofa and enjoys time on her dog bed. She hasn’t shown any signs of being destructive and doesn’t play with toys but in time we think she will learn. She loves her food and eats well. She has been left for about 2 hours but has always had another dog for company.

Out and about – Minxi is nervous walking on the lead and will need more time to learn all about this. She is ok in the car but is nervous at the vets. Her adopters should be patient with her and gently help her with further socialisation.

Type of home – Minxi needs a home where her humans are around for most of the day. She is used to living with other dogs and gains her confidence from them so another dog in the home is a must. Any children need to be over 10 years old and they will have to show her patience and kindness so that she gets used to them. Minxi can live with cats.

Take a look at these fellas! This is a first for us…. Rats! Well, certainly a first for me although I’m sure someone will let me know if we’ve previously been big in the ratty world! I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about rats and their needs (the fact that I queried whether the photos were actually of one rat duplicated four times probably confirms that!) but luckily for us their fabulous foster mum is a dab hand at taking some great photos of them, and providing personal biographies for them all.

They are thought to be just over a year old and didn’t have the best start to their lives. They were surrendered by their original owners and were in a bit of a state. Unfortunately the first kind lady to take them in had a dog who was rather too interested in them, so they had to move on to their third home. We are now looking for their fourth and forever perfect home – these boys have had enough moving round to last them a little furry lifetime.

They are currently unnamed so we just going with numbers:

Boy 1 Can normally be found chilling in his hammock. He’s the largest of the group and is really friendly with exploring being on the top of his agenda.

Boy 2 Has a small skin tag at the end of his nose and by chance he is the nosiest of the bunch, he just can’t wait to go and get his nose stuck into things, sometimes where he shouldn’t!

Boy 3 This boy is the bravest and is always the first to say hello. Even if all the others are sleeping, he will often still make the effort to come and say hi especially if there’s a yummy treat involved!

Boy 4 He is the most reserved of the group but is not by any means shy – he just likes to come over and investigate on his terms. Apparently he can be a bit of a drama lama if you pick him up!

Foster Mum is pleased to report she has never been nipped and all of them seem very healthy. Their coats were quite stained when they first came in so it will take time to get into perfect condition but this is already being helped by proper diet and will continue as they moult.

If you think you are able to give these four little characters the forever home they deserve, please fill in the adoption link below (ignoring the fact it says rabbits!): ADOPTION FORM

Name: Jake

Age: 2-years old

Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Can I live with Children:  Yes, sensible ones

Can I live with cats: Not tested

Can I live with other dogs: Yes

Fostered In: Rhondda, South Wales

Lovely Jake is a 2-year old Cavalier who is being fostered in Rhondda, South Wales. He is a sweet boy who hasn’t had the best start in life. He loves going out for walks and enjoys exploring the countryside or beaches.

People – Jake is very much a people dog. He loves human company and although a little wary of hand over his head he’s happy to be fussed and is never far from a lap. He could live with sensible children who know to be gentle with him. Out and about he loves everyone

Dogs – Jake greets all dogs with a wag of his tail when out for walks. He is currently in foster with other dogs but doesn’t really interact or play with them so could live with other sensible dogs or as an only dog if not left for too long.

Cats – Not tested

In the home – Jake is fully housetrained in his foster home. He sleeps in the kitchen with other dogs but would be equally happy in the bedroom. He has never been crated as he’s not destructive at all. Jake is not yet playing with toys but this may come as he feels more settled.

Out and about – Jake loves nothing more than going for a long walk. He will initially pull with excitement but soon settles into a steady pace. He loves meeting new people and dogs whilst out walking. Jake is great at the vet and is fine in the car on short journeys

Type of home – Jake would love a home where he is taken on lots of nice walks. He really is an easy boy to have in the home and will shower you with love given the chance. He would suit almost any home but would not be happy if he is left for too long during the day.

Jake is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in Rhondda, South Wales

Name: Ollie

Can I live with Children: Not tested

Can I live with cats: Not tested

Can I live with other dogs: Yes

Fostered In: Berkshire

Ollie is a 10-month old Cavalier King Charles cross who is being fostered in Berkshire. He is a loving little chap who loves nothing more than cuddling up with you on the sofa. He is young, curious and keen to explore. He has an undershot jaw but no known health issues.

People – Ollie can be shy initially and currently lives in an adult-only home with other dogs so is yet to meet any children. Once he knows you he loves attention and fuss.

Dogs –  Ollie lives with other dogs but doesn’t really interact with them. He would be happy as an only dog or with another dog for company.

Cats – Not cat tested

In the home – Ollie’s housetraining is a work in progress and he is currently still scent-marking. He isn’t destructive but hasn’t been left for very long yet. Any periods will have to be built up gradually so he gets used to being on his own. He is a nervous eater so does prefer a calmer environment while eating.

Out and about – Ollie is crated when travelling in the car. Initially he can be vocal but soon settles down. At the vets he was submissive and nervous but as his confidence grows, this should improve.

Type of home – Ollie hasn’t been tested around children yet so we feel he would be happy in a home with a few humans around. He adores human company and wouldn’t thrive being left for any length of time. He needs someone who is patient and wiling to spend time with him on training and socialisation as he is so desperate to learn. He would be happy living as an only dog or with another one for company.

Ollie is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in Berkshire.

Name: Milo

Age:  4 months old

Breed: Cavalier King Charles

Can I live with Children:  Sensible ones

Can I live with cats: Not tested

Can I live with other dogs:  Yes, please

Fostered In:  South Wales

Milo is a 4-month old Cavalier who is being fostered in South Wales. He is a typical puppy with the sweetest nature who loves fuss and snuggles. He is full of curiosity and is very smart.

People – Milo loves everyone and everyone who meets him loves him, so he’s been getting lots of fuss when out and about. He doesn’t like loud bangs or loud noises so everything is new to him and it can be a big scary world out there. He does love being held, sitting on your lap, or snuggling next to you on the sofa with his head on your lap. He’s bursting with love and one look in those gorgeous eyes and people tend to turn to mush when they meet him.

Dogs –  Milo definitely needs to be adopted by a family with at least one other active dog. He is currently living with two older Bichons and absolutely adores snuggling with them and playing with them. He is also learning things from his doggy friends that he may have missed out on as a very young pup. They say the best toy for a dog is another dog and in Milo’s case this is very true.

Cats – Milo hasn’t been exposed to cats or small furries – so his reaction to them is unknown.

In the home – Milo is lovely in the house, and although he missed out on early house training is doing very well considering. He’s only had two little wee accidents in the house. He’s currently sleeping on the bed with me and my other dogs and sleeps through the night without a peep. If I have to pop out to the shops, he goes in his large puppy crate in the same room as his other doggy friends. I crate him for a maximum of one hour per day at the moment and make sure that only good things happen in the crate, like treats. He travels well in the car in his crate, happy to curl up and sleep. He loves his toys which are at present as chew-proof as possible and not soft fluffies which I think would only last 5 minutes. He loves food and I feed the dogs separately as although there’s no food aggression in any of them, there is stealing all round. As he’s at an important stage in his development, he needs lots of stimulation and positive learning experiences to prevent boredom.

Out and about – He’s great in the car – travels well in his crate and usually curls up and goes to sleep. He’s great at the vets. Walks are going well – always on lead of course!

Type of home – Milo will do well in an active home where there are people around most of the time to interact with and another dog or dogs to play with. He is a sweet-natured, smart little man who is incredibly affectionate and deserves a home that has the time to devote to him while he is still learning as a pup, and later on when he’s an adult because he’s going to grow into a fabulous, loyal, loving best friend.

Milo is chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. He is too young to be neutered so this will be a condition of adoption and the responsibility of his adopters. A discount voucher is available and follow up checks will be done. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in South Wales.

Take a look at this bonded pair of beauties! Bambi, who is a male, brown and white English spot, aged about 9 months old; and Bailey, who is a female, black and white English spot, aged about 6 months.

Bambi is very laid back and just wants a quiet life – he is happy wandering around the garden foraging and eating leaves. Bailey however is a totally different kettle of fish and I quote Foster Mum when she describes her as “much busier, can’t spend too long cuddling up with Bambi as she’s got far too much to do and mischief to plan!” Well, they say opposites attract! The one trait they do have in common is the skill of escapology! Foster Mum has learnt from experience that they can burrow in between patio slabs if they are just wide enough and can get underneath a fence. They apparently can also jump higher than you think!

They love their food and are very good eaters; in fact far too good as no garden plants are safe – they will try and eat absolutely everything. They come running when food bowls are rattled and enjoy their dark green veg – curly kale, broccoli and cabbage are favourite; and are good hay eaters. Both have put on weight and built up some muscle since being fostered with healthy diets and plenty of space to run around.

Bambi and Bailey didn’t have the best start in life. Bambi had been kept on his own in a tiny cage and had awful dermatitis on all four feet from living on chicken wire when he first came in, and Bailey has the battle scars of a tear in her ear from fighting when she’d been kept with others when they were all unneutered. But luckily for them they found some good people along the way to help get them to where they are now – fully bonded and happy together, getting more confident every day. All they need now is their perfect forever home to complete the fairy tale.

Bambi and Bailey are fully vaccinated and neutered. They are healthy and are getting more relaxed by the day in Foster Mum’s company – they are slowly getting used to her stroking them while they are eating, but it will take time and patience to get them fully comfortable with stroking and able to accept handling.

If you think you are able to give these two beautiful bonded buns the forever home they deserve, please fill in the adoption link below: Adoption Form

Name: Pablo

Age: 3 years old

Breed: Pug

Can I live with Children: Older

Can I live with cats: Yes

Can I live with other dogs: Yes

Fostered In: Crewe, Cheshire

Pablo is a waggy tailed bum wiggling type of pug who is just realising what it’s like to be a loved pet rather than just a breeding stud, he is such a comical affectionate little pug. Pablo suffers from dry eye a common condition for the breed so will need drops daily for this

People – Pablo is slightly reserved at first but is soon won over with cuddles and then is such a people dog, he loves to cuddle with you on the sofa and follow you round the house.

Dogs – Pablo is great with all dogs and particularly loves the other flat faces fosters in the home

Cats – Pablo is fine with cats and parrots

In the home – Pablo does get a little upset when you leave him currently so will need a home with people around most of the time and patient owners to teach him a new routine and to allow him to settle into new surroundings, he is housetrained but again being an ex stud dog this may need patience in a new environment. Pablo is just learning what toys are but loves playing with them. Pablo loves snuggling in a comfy bed or with a blanket.

Out and about – Pablo is very good on a lead and harness, he is a typical flat face when being examined by a vet and does get a little stressed but this is being worked on

Type of home – Pablo needs a loving family with experience with pugs or flat faces dogs and ideally another dog for company although Pablo could be an only dog too in the right home. People that are there the majority of the day to give him companionship. A family that will not allow him to become overweight as it will compromise his breathing, and a family that have or are willing to research flat faced breed specific care needs

Pablo is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in Crewe.

Paddy is a fabulous boy and is quite the ladies’ man. He has clearly been spoilt rotten by females in his previous life and expects to be the only feline man in your life in his new home. Paddy is around 9 years old and is just adorable. He is fine with dogs but gets jealous of other cats showing his human affection. He needs a home where his new owner is around for most of the day, otherwise he will tell you when you come home how much he missed you. Paddy is the perfect partner and he likes to hear all about your day when you have been apart as he understands that you may have to leave him when you go out to buy his food and treats. He also loves to snuggle on the sofa with you to watch films or read a book he’s very accommodating like that.

REHOMED Paige – 6-year old Min Schnauzer
Paige

Name: Paige

Age: 6 years old

Breed: Miniature Schnauzer

Can I live with Children: No

Can I live with cats: Not tested

Can I live with other dogs: Yes, a must

Fostered In: South Wales

Beautiful 6-year old Miniature Schnauzer Paige is being fostered in South Wales and as an ex-breeding girl is still fairly traumatised and will need understanding and patient owners.

People – She will tolerate being around people but needs a lot of encouragement before she is happy being touched. She has been bathed her, but again she shuts down as it is too much human contact for her.

Dogs – Paige is happier around other dogs and will only be rehomed where there is another dog for company.

Cats – Not tested

In the home – She is clean around the house. She sleeps on a bed in the kitchen with the resident dogs in her foster home and is no problem at all. She has made one attempt to play with a toy. She is desperate to join in with the other dogs but can’t seem to find the courage. This will come in time.

Out and about – Paige is ok in the car when she is held. She will tolerate the vet but isn’t that happy. She hasn’t been out for a walk as will not move once a lead is put on her. She is also terrified of wearing a collar but again, gentle encouragement and time will get her used to it.

Type of home – Paige would be suitable to live with part time workers but they should be home for most of the day to build her trust and work on her socialisation. She must have other dogs to interact with. Her new owners must have a lot of patience as Paige will take some time to settle and trust people again.

Paige is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in South Wales.

Name: Bramble

Age: 10 years old

Breed: Bichon Frise

Can I live with Children: Yes

Can I live with cats: Not tested

Can I live with other dogs: Yes, a must

Fostered In: RCT South Wales

Bramble is a 10-year old Bichon Frise who is looking for a retirement pad with gentle owners who are home most of the day to keep him company.

People – Bramble loves people and seems to gravitate towards men. He is fine with visiting children and loves fuss and attention from everyone he meets.

Dogs –   Bramble mixes well with other dogs in the home but hasn’t encountered any while on walks. He will only be rehomed where there is another dog for company.

Cats – Not tested but will probably be fine to live with cats.

In the home – Bramble is almost there with the housetraining but will have the occasional accident overnight. He currently sleeps on the human bed with his foster mum so that she can let him out at night if he needs it.  He has been left for a little while and will initially bark but soon settles. He isn’t destructive either. He only has 11 teeth remaining so will need a small bite dry food – wet food gives him an upset tummy.

Out and about – Bramble hasn’t done much exploring yet. He is fine in the car and at the vets but yet to get used to going to walks in the big wide world. He is doing very well walking on the lead in the garden so adopters will need to introduce walks slowly so that he takes them ‘in his stride’.

Type of home – Bramble would be very happy in a retired home. He isn’t high energy and is ready to enjoy his later years. He doesn’t mind children so visiting grandchildren wouldn’t be a problem. He does attach to people so wouldn’t do well in a home where he would be left for more than a couple of hours. He will bark when you leave but soon settles until he hears your care come back anyway! Bramble will be happiest where he has another dog for company.

Bramble is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in Rhondda, South Wales
