Smithy is a 3 year old French bulldog who like all good secret agents is highly strung, super alert and has a licence to thrill. He has done his time in the service for MY Bone and now needs re training to learn how to be a pet. He likes his water shaken and not stirred and certainly has an eye for the ladies.
Currently transitioning to normal life Smithy is on high alert when out and about and can react with his super spy training to situations that really doesn’t require him to get over excited. After assessing the thread and knowing all his exit points Smithy does calm down and can mix well with others. However, as he has been given licence to do anything he wants in the past Smithy now needs a family who can teach him boundaries in a positive manner. Ideally, he needs a family with flat face experience who can re-train our superhero into just a hero.
Smithy in the home is completely house trained. He loves his food and is not at all destructive. He will play with toys but needs to be supervised or his secret agent training kicks in and he will remove that squeaker before you know it. He probably also knows where to hide the body
Having previously been undercover with cats specifically a feline called Pussy Galore he has decided that he does not like them and is now seeking a home without.
Smithy adores people and thoroughly enjoys a massage and cuddle. He prefers older children that he can play with if he chooses but who won’t get him over excited and activate his licence to kill.
Smithy due to his secret agent training and lack of boundaries would be best suited as an only dog. A home with a resident female dog could be considered if the owners are experienced
Smithy needs a home with owners who have flat face experience, can retrain him out of action hero mode into a calm dog with great social skills. He knows basic commands but can go off mission if not watched carefully. Owners who are home most of the time to help with his re training.
