Jed is a super active 9-week old Bichon Frise cross Patterdale Terrier. He came into rescue as he was an unsold puppy, alongside his brother Dilyn. He is looking for an active home where he will get lots of further training and socialisation.
People – Jed loves people big and small, although children will have to be mindful that he is a young pup and may nip in play.
Dogs – Jed would be happy to live with other dogs in his new home.
Cats – Young enough to learn to live with cats, but not cat tested.
In the home – Jed’s housetraining is a work in progress and as with all puppies he will chew anything! Adopters will need to be prepared to continue with his housetraining and potentially have a few sleepless nights until he settles. Jed loves playing with his toys, running around in the garden and meeting new people. He especially enjoys having his tummy rubbed and sleeping on his back with his legs in the air.
Out and about – It is too early for Jed to have got out and about as he hasn’t completed his course of vaccinations. His adopters will have to get him out in many situations so that he is well socialised and mentally stimulated.
Type of home – An active family home where he has children to play with, people at home for most of the day and plenty of walks and games is what Jed is looking for. He can live with another dog but would also be fine as an only dog as long as he had a lot of human company.
Jed is chipped, has started his course of vaccinations and is up to date with his flea and worming treatment. As Jed is not yet neutered it will be a condition of adoption that his new family get this done as soon as he is old enough. A discount voucher is available and follow up checks will be done. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in South Wales.
